Juvenile Delinquency

Any minor who commits an illegal act can face juvenile delinquency charges that could affect him/her for the rest of their lives. It’s extremely important to understand that most juvenile delinquency cases will not be taken lightly in New Jersey. It is never assumed that it will only be a “slap on the wrist” because the person in question is a minor. In fact, your child may be detained if the court deems it necessary. Moreover, bail is not available for juveniles in cases in which it would be available to adults.
